They're all made here in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. WinniPeg is sometimes called "the Peg" or PegCity. Hence, "PegCityPipes".
The Pipes
The pipes are handmade from exotic and local woods, and each pipe is a unique, one-of-a-kind item. They are primarily intended for smoking cannabis.
The Wood
Some of the local, grown-in-Manitoba woods that are used include apple, paper birch, Manitoba Maple, and American Elm. The American Elm wood comes from trees that were victims of Dutch Elm Disease. They were harvested and sterilized by a local company, and I'm happy to repurpose it into a useful product.
Some of the more popular imported woods include Redheart, Zebrawood, Ebony, Coco Bolo, Bubinga, Jatoba, Lacewood, Padauk, Purpleheart, and Birdseye Maple. They come from Central and South America, Africa, and Australia.
